Christian Performance Theatre Camps
During the summer, Christian Performance Theatre (CPT) puts on week-long musical theater day camps for students ages 5-18. Camps are designed to be a fun and energetic immersion into the world of musical theater. Camps are jam-packed with games, activities, and interactive workshops that build performance skills, self-confidence, and teamwork. Typical camps include team competitions; rotations through drama, dance, and music workshops; and a concluding showcase for family and friends. Through praise, worship, prayer, and daily devotions, CPT teen camps are particularly focused on spiritual growth.
CPT Summer Camps are all about fun, friendships, and theatrics. Camps are a great

Camp Description
Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. is a 60-minute musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream JR. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II. This musical revue is a thrilling mix of contemporary songs, timeless classics, and brand-new medleys that are sure to surprise and delight Disney lovers of all ages. All campers will have a part in this classic production. Auditions for parts will be held on the first day of camp.

Welcome to Dreaming in Color, the perfect summer camp for little stars who love to sing, dance, and act! At this fun-filled theatre camp, kids will explore their imaginations and bring exciting stories to life through acting, singing, and dancing. Each day, campers will learn great songs, practice energetic dance moves, and create their very own characters in a safe and playful environment. They'll work together to put on a colorful, exciting show that’s all about creativity and teamwork. Whether you're a natural performer or just love to have fun, Dreaming in Color is the place to shine! Join us for a summer full of laughter, learning, and a showcase performance that final Friday night! Offering both morning-only and full-day options to work with our youngest cast members' well-being in mind. Primary teaching will occur in the morning; afternoon fun and games for those staying all day!

Get ready for a summer like no other — where the spotlight shines on bold choices, unexpected tunes, and the thrill of exploring the "what ifs" of theatre! This camp is all about diving into the unforgettable songs from musicals that may be too big, too wild, or too offbeat for a typical CPT stage. We want the songs to be a surprise but we might consult with a Waitress that works in Memphis or find Something Rotten within A Chorus Line or maybe end up talking with The Wedding Singer for Hairspray recommendations. We're pulling back the curtain on songs that excite, challenge, and inspire while still embracing our values and putting Character First. Throughout the camp, you'll work with talented directors, vocal coaches, and choreographers to master these dynamic pieces, all leading up to a spectacular showcase where we celebrate the boldness and brilliance of musical theatre. A full week of acting, singing, dancing, and having big fun this summer! So if you've ever dreamed of singing that show-stopping solo from a musical you thought you'd never get the chance to perform — this is your moment. Something for everyone!
CPT Camp for 5-7 year olds
Campers will rotate through drama, voice, and dance classes. They will be challenged with engaging devotional and group games as well as prepare numbers for the final showcase. Great teens and instructors will keep them moving all day!
Camp for 8-12 year olds
A day camp, 9:00 am-3:00 pm filled with dance, drama, and voice workshops. Campers will participate in whole group games, with special theme days including water games! These special days make dressing up and coming to camp a blast! Students will be given instruction on dance techniques, vocal training, and acting tips! All these skills come together as the teams work to present their part of a great show! The free Showcase will be presented to families and friends on Friday night at 7:00 pm. Camp is designed to increase the students’ ability in all areas of theater while building meaningful friendships and faith through daily devotions.
Teen Camp for 13-18 year olds
A camp filled with dance, drama, and voice rehearsals. Campers will participate in whole group games and special theme days. Students will be given professional instruction on dance techniques, vocal training, and acting tips. The Showcase will be presented to families and friends on Friday night at 7:00 pm.
Summer Camp Intern Position
Looking to gain experience in the world of Music Theatre? A CPT Summer Camp Intern gets to work directly with Directors and Coordinators to help plan and implement camps. As a Camp Intern, you will gain valuable experience in a specific field of theatre (music, dance, drama) or can learn administrative duties as a Camp Coordinator Intern. If you are looking into a career or future in the field of Theatre, this position will give you a depth of experience and direct mentorship and growth through teaching and directing CPT students. The experience can be added to your resumes for either job experience or college application community involvement. CPT Intern Application.
Teen Assistant
Love to sing, dance, and act and want to share that with younger students? Those campers who are 14 and older can register to be a teen assistant for kid’s camp. Teens help directors, lead teams, present skits, participate in game time, and model all the techniques for our campers. The experience can be added to your resumes for either job experience or college application community involvement. Space is limited for assistants so apply early! Teen Assistant Application .
